Fowlmead Winter Warmer Round 4 - 06.03.11

I raced the last round of the Winter Warmer Series today at Fowlmead Country Park, this venue happens to be a 15 minute drive from my house, so was quite a low key and local race. I had a good start, but never really felt 'race fit'. I say this because I normally start a race feeling absolutely destroyed and then after 10 minutes I loosen up and feel good (until the last 5 minutes), but this never happened in today's race.

All the above considered I did win my Category of Youth, but there isn't many Youth riders in these races and as I race at the same, for the same amount of time as the seniors, I use this race to compare myself to the seniors and race as a 'Senior' rather then a Youth. In this way I tend to compare myself to the Seniors, as it happens I think I got 7th Overall, which I am fairly happy with. Anyway my coach 'Richard Wood' was there and took many high quality photos (which are below).
